What are the quality standards for artificial turf?

2023-09-07

There are two quality standards for artificial turf: lawn and paving sitequality standards. Product standards include quality standards and physicaltest standards for artificial grass filaments; site quality standards includesite leveling, slope and site size control standards. The specific standardcontent is as follows:

1. Turf quality standards:

Artificial grass filaments are made of PP or PE materials, and the grassfilaments are strictly inspected by inspection agencies. Artificial turfproduction companies should have SGS level two fire protection certification, toxic and hazardous substance certification, anti-corrosion and wear-resistantcertification, etc. At the same time, the adhesive used at the bottom of theturf also affects the quality of the turf. The adhesive backing should haveenvironmental safety certification.

2. Physical project inspection standards:

That is, tensile strength, anti-aging test, lawncolor and other lawn inspection standards. The elongation at break ofartificial grass filaments is not less than 15% in the longitudinal directionand not less than 8% in the transverse direction. The tear strength of the lawnis not less than 30KN/m in the longitudinal direction and 25KN/m in thetransverse direction.

3. Site laying quality inspection standards:

The flatness of the artificial turf field iscontrolled within 10mm. Use 3m small line measurement to avoid large errors. When laying lawn, ensure that the slope of the site is controlled within 1% andmeasure with a level. Slope control keeps lawns draining smoothly. At the sametime, the error in the length and width of the lawn should be controlled within10mm, and a ruler should be used to measure the error to a minimum.

Only by mastering the parameters of the laying site can artificial turfproducts be combined. Lawn product indicators effectively meet the standards. If the site paving requirements are not up to standard, the ideal use value ofthe lawn cannot be reflected. Therefore, high quality standards for lawns needto combine product quality and site standards.
